Ed Mead- Former George Jackson Brigade Political Prisoner
Mark Cook- Former George Jackson Brigade Political Prisoner
Larry Giddings- Former Anti-Authoritarian Political Prisoner

Building cross movement solidarity is dependent on the passing on of key lessons from our revolutionary past to the new generation. Old guard panelists from the George Jackson Brigade and Wellspring Commune will discuss stories from community organizing historically and contemporary work supporting prisoners. Building strong revolutionary communities must include the new generations of activists, community organizers as well as former political prisoners. Panelists will discuss the importance of mentorship in the movement, the necessity of keeping dialogue alive, and the necessity build an intersectional approach to cross-movement building. Updates will be presented on current issues and organizing efforts, including the Pelican Bay Hunger Strike.
